Hello We have a radiator with a Danfoss thermostat (an older model, see attached image). The radiator is not functioning even though it is set to maximum. I remember that the previous issue was that a spring had gotten stuck. Is this something that can be fixed by oneself and if so, how? Kind regards, Per T

How do you increase the flow on this one, picture below? My "handyman" says you can turn the wheel without the cable moving, which doesn't work. Do you need to loosen the brass nut?

Did you figure it out. I have the same problem.

I have an old thermostat Ra 2000. How do I loosen it so I can check the spring in case it is stuck? I don't dare to touch too much since the "threaded screw" itself is made of plastic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Danfoss RA 2000 below.

Where is the best location to place the thermostat?

The best place for the thermostat is the room where you spend the most time, in many cases the living room or kitchen. Place the thermostat about one and a half metres above the floor, not in the sun and not on an outside wall.

What is the dead band of a thermostat?

If your thermostat has a dead band, your installation is, as it were, 'at rest'. The thermostat only switches on when, for example, the difference deviates more than 2˚C from the set room temperature.
