Applying to the online MSW is facilitated by UConn’s online application provided by UConn’s Graduate School.

Online MSW Applications Requirements

MSW online applicants must have the following:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• A cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher. However, emphasis will be given to the last two years of undergraduate work.
• A broad understanding of liberal arts studies, including emphasis on creative, analytical, and dialectical thinking skills gained from their undergraduate education in literature, the arts, politics, economics, history, philosophy, and the human and natural sciences.

When Completing the MSW online application, select the following:

• Level of Study: Masters
• Academic Areas: Social Sciences
• Program: Social Work MSW: Online
• Concentration: Individuals, Groups, and Families-MSW
• Enrollment Cohort: Part-time
• Campus: Hartford

We are authorized to accept distance learning students residing in the 50 states, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia.
